Important information regarding your health insurance and our physical therapy.
We believe in providing physical therapy and physician services according to individual needs and goals, rather than on the basis of your insurance benefits and allotment. Stemming from this belief, you can expect us to spend ample one-on-one time with you during treatment sessions in order to allow us the ability to best identify the problem, treat, and educate you.
Beyond Exercise, LLC is considered out of network with ALL insurance companies. We do not directly bill insurance for the services rendered by our therapists and physicians, and therefore payment for the service rendered is due at each treatment session. We have decided not to directly bill insurance to allow us the opportunity to practice our craft the way it is intended--one-on-one treatment sessions, no limit in treatment visits, no cap on services, no need for pre-authorization from insurance, no need for referrals.
Because of our billing model you can expect the following:
Physical Therapy: Our physical therapist will work with you the entire time, rather than treating you along with 1-3 other patients as in your typical insurance-based clinic. This higher level of attention brings about a higher level of quality care, and our patients tend to truly get better sooner and in a more sustainable way.
FAQs:
Do I need to pay a co-pay? No. We don't bill your insurance, so there is no co-pay involved.
Can I seek reimbursement independently? Yes, unless you are a Medicare beneficiary (see question #5). We will generate a receipt upon request that can be sent to your insurance company. If you have met your out-of-network deductible, then you may qualify for a full or partial reimbursement of your costs. This varies for everyone’s insurance, and we highly recommend that you contact your insurance company to learn the details of your plan. The contact information is typically found on your insurance card.
Do you accept HSA or FSA credit cards as forms of payment? Yes. You may need a doctor's prescription to justify the necessity of therapy. Check your FSA/HSA plan.
What are your healthcare rates? You can view our rates here.
Can I use my Medicare? Due to current federal regulations, we cannot provide physical therapy services to Medicare beneficiaries. This is a law that we hope will change soon. In the meantime, we can refer you to an appropriate clinic that is in network with Medicare.
